About the Item
RHYTHM & BLUES is the first suite of original lithographs by the woman artist Robin Morris. This portfolio set of four hand made limited edition lithographs were printed using hand lithography techniques on archival Arches paper, 100% acid free. Ms. Morris utilizes her characteristic Art Deco style in creating colorful musical portraits in a suite of 4 prints titled: Tres Amigos, Urban Serenade, Calypso, and Spotlight - paper size: 17" x 12.5", each has its own compelling contemporary look. Tres Amigos features a zesty trio of Mexican musicians, Urban Serenade is a sensuous female violinist, Calypso is a vibrant horn player, Spotlight calls attention to a piano soloist performing on stage.
Rhythm & Blues is a lively and fun collection of hand crafted limited edition lithographs that will make a great wall art grouping. Vibrant color palette of orange, gray, black, hot pink, yellow, blue, green, purple, red, lavender, light tan, brown.
Complete set of four unframed pencil signed lithographs printed at JK Fine Art Editions Co. NY presented in the original turquoise blue, ribbon tie presentation folio all prints are in pristine condition. From the master printers private collection.
Contemporary American artist Robin Morris (b. 1953) is best known for her New Deco style of artwork that has captivated many throughout her career. Artist Robin Morris found success as a commercial artist with many of her works being featured by Radio City Music Hall, Coca-Cola, and Bloomingdale's. Besides her commercial work, Morris's creations have been included in the permanent collections of several museums and earned her international recognition. From shirts and jackets to paintings and portraits, Morris's work has enchanted audiences everywhere, growing her fan base and keeping admirers coming back for more.
